Individual Therapy

The work done in individual therapy depends on the ability to feel safe and seen. We start here — building the trust necessary to dive in to the work that comes next. This is a collaborative process throughout; moving at the pace that works for your needs and towards the goals of your choosing. Other than EMDR, I employ a variety of modalities to support you in reaching those goals, including Internal Family Systems techniques, mindfulness practices, and Polyvagal Informed practices. I am happy to answer any questions about any of these interventions prior to meeting and do offer a free 30 minute consultation where we can determine if I am a good fit. I offer both Telehealth and in-person options.

50 mins |  $150 (sliding fee scale available as well as some insurances accepted)

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), is an 8 phase protocol for use in the treatment of trauma and adverse experiences. Through the use of eye movements, or other bilateral stimulation such as tactile or sound, the brain is able to re-engage with it’s natural ability to work through a traumatic or overwhelming experience and come to an adaptive resolution. In other words, the memory of the event remains, but the individual no longer feels trapped, overwhelmed or inundated by it. EMDR has substantial research backing it’s effectiveness as a treatment.

50 mins |  $150 (sliding fee scale available as well as some insurances accepted)

90 mins |  $200 (insurance can be billed for first hour)

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call the Colorado Division of Insurance at 303-894-7490 or 1-800-930-3745.
